See All ReviewsWife and I went for a late lunch. Greeted and seated straight away. Menus, chips, and drinks came quickly. Wife ordered the grilled octopus, I ordered the seafood mix in the pineapple. Both dishes were served in a very reasonable time. We loved our food, we swapped between each other's dishes quite a bit and couldn't come to a conclusion which was better. It is a bit of a drive for us, but it is worth it and we will be going back with friends and family.
We visited Alta Mar after previously dining at their Corpus Christi location, and this spot absolutely did not disappoint! We ordered the caldo and the Mojarra Especial. The caldo was rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the freshness and depth in the broth. It was the perfect balance of seasoning without being overwhelming. The Mojarra Especial was excellent — perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The seasoning was on point, and the portion size was generous. Everything was served hot and well-presented. It’s always impressive when a restaurant maintains consistency across locations, and this one definitely delivered just like Corpus Christi. Great food, great experience, we’ll definitely be back!
Tried this little gem that we found looking for new seafood spot and my god it did not disappoint. Our waitress Estephany was on it. Answered all our questions with a big smile. Will certainly be returning.
