4 weeks agoWife and I went for a late lunch. Greeted and seated straight away. Menus, chips, and drinks came quickly. Wife ordered the grilled octopus, I ordered the seafood mix in the pineapple. Both dishes were served in a very reasonable time. We loved our food, we swapped between each other's dishes quite a bit and couldn't come to a conclusion which was better. It is a bit of a drive for us, but it is worth it and we will be going back with friends and family.

3 months agoWe visited Alta Mar after previously dining at their Corpus Christi location, and this spot absolutely did not disappoint! We ordered the caldo and the Mojarra Especial. The caldo was rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the freshness and depth in the broth. It was the perfect balance of seasoning without being overwhelming. The Mojarra Especial was excellent — perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The seasoning was on point, and the portion size was generous. Everything was served hot and well-presented. It’s always impressive when a restaurant maintains consistency across locations, and this one definitely delivered just like Corpus Christi. Great food, great experience, we’ll definitely be back!

3 months agoTried this little gem that we found looking for new seafood spot and my god it did not disappoint. Our waitress Estephany was on it. Answered all our questions with a big smile. Will certainly be returning.

4 months agoOur go to spot when we want Seafood, very friendly staff, Estephany gave prompt service and was on it with our order! Outstanding food with big portions! 10 out of 10 recommend!

4 months agoHands down the best Mexican food! We had the fried snapper with Diablo sauce and the seafood paella both were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The seafood portions were generous and satisfying. The drinks were strong and delicious, and the staff was just as amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

5 months agoFirst time there. Tacos gobernador were delicious. Highly recommend them. My husband and I had a shrimp cocktail and Vuelve la vida cocktail as well. We feel the cocktails were a little watery and needed a little more flavor. We added ketchup and salt and it was better. I think it needs some hot sauce as well. The service and atmosphere were good. We had a Margarita made for two and it was perfect. We look forward to going again and trying other dishes. However, we would be happy just to have those delicious shrimp tacos and Margarita. Perfection!

6 months agoWe had a large ceviche shrimp and fish and my boyfriend had the fajitas plate. Very tasty, I like the mexican music and ambient. Good prices.

7 months agoThe music was pleasant, not overly loud where I couldnt enjoy conversation at the table. The portion sizes are Texas Big portions I was quite impressed. The flavor profile was very delicious. Our server was really nice and did her job well. I enjoyed the fact we were served complimentary ceviche n salsa as we looked over the menu. I would recommend all my friends who enjoy seafood to come and eat here. Will be back again
